Yanai Ankaoua
Yanai Ankaoua is an MBA student at the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and the recipient of the 'Ayelet Uriel Raymond' research excellence scholarship for graduate students. His MBA specialty is Marketing and Innovation. He earned his B.A. with distinction in Management and Sociology. ​ Yanai's research focuses on consumer behavior in the realm of environmental products. In his research, Yanai uses a rich dataset, compiled from data from the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety and data from additional sources. He studies changes in consumer behavior following the Dieselgate scandal and onward, while taking into consideration local policies that encourage the purchasing of green cars. In light of the scandal, he estimates the effect of cars' brand, model, engine type (diesel/non-diesel), and cars’ country of origin on car choice. For the analysis, he uses advanced econometric modeling approaches. ​
